What Should Marriage Be?

The primary purpose of civil marriage shall be the protection of husband and wife as they rear the offspring of their sexual union. Marriage shall recognize a husband and wife’s legitimate role in conceiving and nurturing their babies, financially supporting their children, molding child behavior into responsible citizenship, and overseeing education in their family.
